A privately-held woman-owned small business, we began in 1978 as an imaging engineering firm. Imaging design relationships with US Military, US Federal Agencies and NASA eventually led to the manufacturing and producing of the imaging products division. In the mid-nineties, Hurley & Associates, Inc. began the manufacturing of specialized imaging products for a wide variety of applications. In the late-nineties, the US Air Force in conjunction with the US Navy funded Hurley & Associates, Inc. for the development of thermal imaging for military vehicle and drop deployment security.

In 2004, the imaging manufacturing division spun off to its own company. HurleyIR, Inc. has supplied imaging products to all branches of the US Military primarily in rapid deployment force protection applications. HurleyIR, Inc. also supplies imaging products to the US three letter agencies, USSS, and Presidential Protection. HurleyIR’s imaging products have been chosen for many of the largest Port Security projects in the United States. Many of the products HurleyIR supplies to the US Military, have been fully tested by one or more divisions of the major military branches.
